Potential Budget:
Potential $50 dollars for potential tools, water tank, and pvc pipes Our idea is to make the irrigation system prices for small urban gardeners go down. Our prototype will be made out of PVC pipe and will have holes that are big for plants that consume lots of water, medium for plants that consume medium amounts of water, and small for plants that only need a little bit of water. The irrigation pipe will be connected to a water tank that will be made out of tubing, that will house the water. We will also have a timer that has a motor that stops and starts the flow of water to the tub. It is intuitive, and lets the gardener choose how long they want the water to run per day. Our area of focus is community gardens in Los Angeles around us.
